CARE & DISPLAY GUIDE
General care notes for Bitter Buffalo Art pieces. Follow any care label or product-page instructions that ship with a specific item. Those listing details take priority over this overview.
Tie-dye first wash and ongoing washing
Wash new tie-dye separately the first time, in cold water, with like colors. Turn garments inside out when practical. Use a mild detergent. Air dry or use a low dryer setting when the fabric allows. Repeat cold, gentle washing for ongoing care.
Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals
Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, or harsh stain removers on dyed cloth, wood finishes, or print surfaces unless a specific product listing says otherwise.
Wood art
Dust wood pieces with a dry, soft cloth. Keep wood away from prolonged moisture, standing water, and high humidity. Avoid placing wood art next to heat sources or in strong, direct sunlight for long periods, which can fade finishes and stress joints.
Photography and print handling
Handle prints by the edges. Keep them clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight when stored or displayed. Avoid rolling, folding, or stacking items in a way that can crease or scuff the surface. Available print formats vary by photograph and product listing.
Framing and display
Use framing and hanging hardware suited to the size and weight of the piece. Keep artwork on a stable, indoor wall or shelf unless a specific product is documented for another setting. Leave space for airflow around lamps and layered pieces.
Lamps and LED lighting
Use only the power supply and bulbs intended for that piece, or a compatible replacement specified with the item. Place lighting on a stable, dry, indoor surface. Do not cover vents or enclosed lighting. Unplug before cleaning. If a cord, plug, or light looks damaged, stop using it and contact Bitter Buffalo Art. This guide does not make electrical, fire-rating, waterproof, or child-safety claims.
Indoor use
Treat Bitter Buffalo Art pieces as indoor work unless a specific product listing documents outdoor use.
